This picture taken in front of the Armory in April 2004 during the Lincoln Pilgrimage.  Featured in this picture are the Traditonal, Fancy and Hoop Dancers along with the Drummers and their Advisor.

     The Native American Dance Team does performances for Cub Scout Pack's, Summer Camp and for the Lincoln Pilgrimage. Also they do performances for other area's such as nursing homes, town homecomings, etc.

     We decided to do this webpage to let everyone know about our local Native American Dance Team.  This dance team travels to different powwow's to see the different styles of dancing and to get pointers on how we are doing.  We have been up to Seven Circles in the Peoria, Illinois area. We have visited a Powwow in Taylorville. We have traveled as far as St. Louis to visit Shawnee Lodge. Each one of these area's has help our boys in their dancing. Along with the dancers we have singers and drummers. We are always looking for dancers, singers and drummers.

     We are connected with Illinek Lodge 132, Abraham Lincoln Council, Order of the Arrow and we also have some of the team connected with the Venturing Crew.
